Robert Cesario
Intern
Background
I’m currently a senior at Michigan State University studying math and physics. After discovering that full-time research wasn’t for me, I started looking for other options. I talked to my friends and family, the wonderful advisors at MSU, and even some professional acquaintances that had come to the same conclusions as me. They almost unanimously pointed me towards the financial industry as a great place to apply the numerical and analytical skills I have spent the last four years honing. Further introspection led me to financial planning, where I knew that my work could help people directly. I applied for a summer internship at Pearl through the recommendation of my advisor and the rest is history. I am excited to start my investment management journey, and looking forward to applying my problem-solving skills to the world of financial planning.
