Background

Prior to joining Pearl Planning, I worked as a Branch Office Administrator for a financial firm and also had experience in banking and bookkeeping. I also had the opportunity to stay at home for a few years to raise my two amazing daughters. I received my bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University, in Early Childhood Development and Family Studies.

After nearly 40 years working in client services, I know my calling is to help people in any way I can to achieve their dreams. Living through some of life’s ups and downs, I am more aware than ever of the importance of a well thought out financial plan.

I am so blessed to be working with Melissa Joy, my daughter Hannah, and this amazing team, as a Client Service Associate, here at Pearl Planning. It is gratifying to assist and see clients reach their goals and move toward a successful financial future.

St. Louis Michigan, the Middle of the Mitten, is where I live and raised my two daughters and my furry pets. When I am not working, I may be walking my dog Cali, playing a game or planning my next visit to see Leah and Joe in Santa Monica, CA or Hannah and Jeff, in Charlevoix MI. Always trying to live life to the fullest.

Childhood Collection

Christmas Ornaments! As a child and still to this day I have been gifted or purchased ornaments reminding me of people I love, places I’ve been or dreams I look forward to. I love that once a year, I look at each one as I place it on my tree and remember the significance of that ornament. I started collections for my daughters when they were babies, purchasing one per year representing something they loved during that time in their life so when they moved away from home, they had a little box of memories to take with them to start their own special holiday season.

You Might Bump into Me...

In a bookstore or a juice bar or my favorite place… roaming around Northern Michigan visiting the beach, a winery or two or visiting my daughter, Hannah and her husband Jeff.
